Lillian Hill Mezick, 99, of Meadow Bridge Road, Salisbury, Maryland departed this life on Friday, December 19, 2025 at the Venza Care Home, Snow Hill, Maryland.

She was born February 19, 1926, the first child of James Marshall Hill and Anna Lee Webster Hill, at the home of her maternal grandparents, John and Rosa Webster, in Wenona, Maryland.

In 1946 Lillian married Newton C. Mezick. They were married 77 years before his passing in February 2024.

Lillian attended school in Princess Anne and then Salisbury State Teachers College.  She then began her teaching career in Wicomico County until retirement. She was a dedicated member of St. Johns United Methodist Church, Fruitland, Maryland.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brothers- James B. Hill, Richard W. Hill, Rowland M. Hill, and sister Barbara Hill Donohoe.

She is survived by two sisters-in-law- Barbara Hill and Peggy Hill, as well as four nieces, Kathy, Lee Ann, Terri, and Michele, and one nephew, Michael, as well as their families and several distant cousins.

The family would like to thank the staff at Venza Care for their patience and care over the past 15 months.

Graveside services will be held at Beechwood Cemetery, Princess Anne, Maryland on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
