Lena Mae Dorsey
PRINCESS ANNE — Lena Mae Dorsey, 82, of Princess Anne passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at her home.
Born in Perryhawkin on Feb. 17, 1927, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Daisey P. Jenkins.
Lena retired as a switchboard operator for the Holly Center in Salisbury and was a lifetime member of O.T. Beauchamp Post 94 of the American Legion in Princess Anne.
She is survived by her brother, Clyde Jenkins, and his wife, Elaine, of Pocomoke City; her children, Carole Pinchak of Princess Anne, Alan Beauchamp of Lady Lake, Fla., Gilbert Beauchamp of Princess Anne and Nancy Figgs, also of Princess Anne. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Shane Long of Georgetown, Eric Pinchak of Hagerstown, Md., Nathan Pinchak of Princess Anne, Mark Beauchamp of Charlottesville, Va., Leigh Bowen of Montress, Va., David Beauchamp of Nashua, N.H., Caroline Beauchamp and Andrew Beauchamp of Princess Anne and Michael Figgs, also of Princess Anne. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Ms. Lena will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by many.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne. Pastor Jeff Coalter will officiate.
