Lawana M. Riggin, 62, of Princess Anne, died Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born in Washington D.C. on November 12, 1947, she was a daughter of Lucille Gill Schuller and the late Elwood Schuller.

Mrs.Riggin was a homemaker and an avid gardener who loved flowers and plants.

She is survived by her husband, Wendell B. Riggin of Princess Anne; a brother, Warren Schuller and his wife Cheryl of Bowie; two uncles, Charlie Wingenbach of Louisville, Kentucky and Joe Wingenbach of Hawthorne, Florida; mother-in-law, Martha Ann Riggin and family of Eden; several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved pets, 2 dogs and three cats.

Two aunts preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2pm at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne. Rev. Gary Smith will be officiating.
