Laura Elizabeth McDaniel, 95 of here died on Friday, August 8, 2014 at Salisbury Nursing Home, Genesis Elder Care in Salisbury. Born on June 6, 1919 in Champ, she was the daughter of the late John I. McDaniel and Mary Anne Bloodsworth McDaniel.
She was a sales associate at the former Ames Department Store in Fruitland and was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church in Fruitland.
She is survived by two nephews, Irvin Ray Ford of Dames Quarter and William Ford of Salisbury and several other nieces and nephews. Her late sister was Mildred Ford Atkinson. Late nephews were Jack Ford and Milbert Ford.
A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne where friends may call from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. The Rev. William Kniceley will officiate. Interment will be in Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
