Wenona – Larry Ray Benton, Sr., 60, of Wenona, passed away on April 30, 2023.
Larry enjoyed fishing and being outdoors: especially out on the water as he worked as a waterman for over 40 years.
He is survived by his mother, Maxine Benton of Wenona, two children, Larry Benton, Jr. of Spokane, WA and daughter, Casie Benton of Princess Anne, MD, niece Leslie Benton, great-nephew Desmond Lake, great-niece Faith Seawright, an uncle, and several aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by father, Ronald Benton and three brothers, Eric, Stuart, and Steven Benton.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the "Larry Benton Sr. Memorial Fund, C/O Casie Benton at Hebron Savings Bank.
