Eden - Beverly Kim (Bozman) Barnes, 64, of Eden, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on the morning of November 13, 2023. Born on September 22, 1959 in Salisbury, MD, she was the daughter of the late Gorman Bozman and Carolyn (Webster) Bozman. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Tammy.

Kim, as she went by her entire life, was a 1977 graduate of Washington High School in Princess Anne. She married her high school sweetheart, Daniel Paul Barnes, Jr., on September 24, 1977. After a brief stint as a telephone operator with C&P Telephone Company, she devoted the rest of her life to building a home with her husband and raising her sons, Phillip Paul Barnes (Alisha), of Columbia, MD, and Nicholas Lee Barnes of Eden.

Kim was a devoted wife and mother, and her family was what made her happiest in her life. She spent countless hours attending softball games, band concerts, karate practices, and anything else that her husband and sons were involved with. She also enjoyed cross-stitch, watching movies on the Hallmark Channel, and caring for all kinds of animals. In addition to the cats she kept at home, she regularly volunteered at the Humane Society of Wicomico County.

In addition to her husband and sons, she is survived by a niece, Carly Callahan, of Seaford, DE, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne. The family will receive visitors beginning at 1:00 pm with services beginning at 2:00. Interment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery. Pastors Joe Barnes and Steve Willing will officiate.
