Princess Anne – Kenneth James "Jamie" Swift, Sr., 41, of here passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017.
Born in Crisfield on April 14, 1976, he was the son of Melvin G. Swift of Painter, Va. and Beverly Ann (Lawrence) Custis of Pocomoke, Md.
Jamie worked as a welder for Westwood Forms, Inc. in Milford, De. and was a former member of the U.S. Army National Guard.
In addition to his parents, Jamie is survived by his stepfather, Lee Custis, his fiancé, Tamara "Poogy" James of Princess Anne, four children, Tyler K. Swift, Sr., of Pocomoke, Kenneth James Swift, Jr., of Norfolk, Nadia Harris of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Gabriella Panzo of Crisfield, two grandchildren, Tyler K. Swift, Jr. and Colby Swift, two brothers, Jeremy Swift of Norfolk, Va. and Justin Swift of Virginia Beach, grandmother Edna Swift of Crisfield and three step-children, Kyimara James, Kyimar Morton, and Karman Morton all of Princess Anne.
Jamie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Arthur Lawrence and Nancy Forse and paternal grandfather Norman C. Swift.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Hinman Funeral Home, P.A., 11673 Somerset Ave., Princess Anne, Md. with a visitation from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M Interment will be in Beechwood Cemetery, West Post Office Rd. in Princess Anne. Reverend Mark Thomas will officiate.
