Obituary



ORIOLE—Kenneth Baker Reid, 50, died at his home in Oriole on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010.
Born Aug. 31, 1960, he was the son of the late Theodore Baker "Tom" and Mary Ryle Reid.
Ken was an EMT for the Middletown Township, while in New Jersey. This was something he was
very proud of. Ken worked for a number of radio stations over the years and had just moved back
to the area after living in New Jersey for eight years. He also gave his time to theSomerset Ruritan and Eric Monk Softball Tournaments.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, on Crisfield Lane in Princess Anne. He was an avid
football and baseball fan who enjoyed watching the NY Jets, Ravens, and New York Mets.
Besides his mother and father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Keith Reid, who
died Oct.. 22, 1983.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Falcone Reid of New Jersey; his close cousins, Gale Shockley of
Oriole and Reid Lawrence and his wife, Vanessa of Princess Anne. He is also survived by a host of
aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne,
where Friends may call two hours prior to the service.
