IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kearon D.
"Butch" Lehman Sr
January 1, 1963 – April 3, 2025
Princess Anne - Kearon DeSales "Butch" Lehman Sr., 62, passed away peacefully on 3 April 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born 1 January 1963, Butch was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew him with kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family.
Butch's greatest joy in life was his family. He was a proud father to his three children, Kearon Lehman Jr (Kortney), David Colonna Sr (Emily), and Terra Lehman. He found immense happiness in being a grandfather to his 11 cherished grandchildren, each of whom brought him endless pride and love. He was also survived by his mother, Doris Megee, brother, Mike Megee (Stacey), and Sister, Patricia Weir (Mark) who remained a constant source of love and support throughout his life. He is proceeded in death by his father and stepfather, Rodney Lehman and James "Jim" Megee.
Butch was a dedicated father to his kids. He spent countless hours coaching, teaching and mentoring his children as sports coach, local cub scouts den leader, and as a pageant dad.
Butch dedicated decades of his life to serving his community as a Corrections Officer and Deputy Sheriff in Somerset County. He took great pride in his work, upholding the values of integrity, duty, and service to others. His commitment to protecting and helping those around him left a lasting impact on the community he served and those he served with.
Known for his sense of humor, Butch was a man who could change the room with his presence. He was a steadfast loyal friend, and a man of deep values. He enjoyed tinkering with model trains with a few coffees and always made time for those he loved.
Butch's legacy lives on in the family he built, the lessons he imparted, and the love he shared. His memory will forever be carried in the hearts of those who knew him.
A service to honor and celebrate Butch's life will be held at Hinman funeral home in Princess Anne on 16 May 2025 at 11:00 am.
Friends and Family are invited to attend, pay their respects and to celebrate Butch's life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund in Butch's memory.
Though he is no longer with us, his love and spirit will remain a guiding light for all who had the privilege of knowing him.
