Karen "Gail" Evans, 68, of Pocomoke City, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025 at TidalHealth McCready Pavilion in Crisfield. She had been a resident of Alice B. Tawes Nursing Home for a short while.
Born on June 20, 1959 in Salisbury, she was raised in Princess Anne and was the daughter of the late Vernon and Juanita Bozman Cooper. Her husband of 33 years, Roger Franklin Evans, preceded her in death on March 21, 2021.
She was a graduate of Washington High School class of 1975 and was the co-owner along with her husband of Browns Outboards in Pocomoke. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Oliver Beauchamp American Legion Post #94 in Princess Anne.
She enjoyed gardening, plants, drinking coffee, chatting with her friends and family, and hummingbirds.
She is survived by two daughters, Aimee Marie Reese and husband Patrick of Crisfield and Mandy Patricia Evans and partner Josh Sorber of Pocomoke; grandchildren, Harper Reese, Anna Holland, Noah Reese, Camryn Sorber, Lilah Reese, and Beckham Reese; three sisters, Bonnie Stone and husband Frank of Princess Anne, Stephanie James and husband Mike of Salisbury, and Patty Bozman and husband Roland of Princess Anne; mother-in-law, Sharon Evans of Princess Anne; sisters-in-law, Stephanie Evans of New York and Teresa Milligan of Salisbury; brother-in-law, Bruce Milligan of Pocomoke; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Cooper in 1995.
A memorial service officiated by Pastor Jamie DeVaughn will be Friday, November 28, 2025 at 11 AM at First Baptist Church in Princess Anne. A visitation will be from 10-11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Women Supporting Women.
