Princess Anne – Karen Lee (Leath) Bloodsworth, 57, of Princess Anne, MD went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, March 7, 2023.
Born on October 9, 1965 in Salisbury to Bobby and Janice Leath, Sr., she was the youngest of four children.
Karen's earlier years revealed a passion of medical-business and was signified by attending Woodbridge Business Institute. Her later years were spent being delighted as a homemaker. Karen's faith and love of family was very evident. She was gratified spending time with her family and proud of her children and grandchildren. She exemplified pride in embellishing her home. Karen's humor and smile were perpetually contagious. She was known for her nurturing personality, and for being relatable to all that came in contact with her. Karen's charisma and the love she exhibited will forever imprint the most memorable and enjoyable remembrances.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jonathan Leath, Sr.
In addition to her parents, Karen is survived by her three children, Jessica Scott (Barry), Allison Briddell-Martin (Eddie) and Jerry Bloodsworth (Hailey); her grandchildren, Alyssa, Ethan, Christopher, Annabelle and great-granddaughter, Gracelynn, Brother Bobby Leath (Debbie) and Sister Valerie Tull (Brent), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Hinman Funeral Home, P.A. in Princess Anne, MD where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Gerald Benton will officiate. Interment will follow in the St. Peter's United Methodist Church Cemetery in Oriole, MD.
