Joyce Ann Coleman, 78, of Salisbury died May 3, 2014, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Parsonsburg on June 28, 1935. She was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Shockley. Joyce was a homemaker and had worked for Rite Aide in Salisbury.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Lee Carter and her husband Rick of Mardela, Mike James and wife Stephanie of Salisbury, Stephen James and wife Faith of Princess Anne, Cheryl Bush and husband Stephen of Hebron, David Coleman of Salisbury , and Dwight Coleman and his wife Jennifer of Hebron. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, Brothers Ralph Shockley of Salisbury, Bill Shockley of Berlin, Danny Shockley of NC., a sister Linda Carmine of Salisbury, and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 8,2014 at 11:00 am in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne. Friends may call Wednesday Evening at the Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 Pm, and on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 before the service. Interment will follow in the Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne. The Rev. David Webster will Officiate.
