Joseph Francis Shores , 69, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at home.
He was born on February 10, 1948 to the late John & Emma Jean Webster Shores. Joe graduated high school and Goldy- Beacom College, was an Army Veteran and a painter by trade. He was a member of Somerset United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his brothers, John Shores and his wife Cheryl, of Salisbury, Robert of Kenneth City, Florida, sister Rosemary Shores of Dames Quarter, special nephew Wyatt Shores and niece Lauren Shores.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his special friend, Meredith Johnson.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Somerset United Methodist Church in Dames Quarter, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev. Joanne Hartman and Rev. David Webster will officiate. Interment will be in the Shores Family Cemetery.
