Jonathan Lee Leath (Johnny), 56, of Princess Anne, MD, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017. He was born in Salisbury, MD on April 10, 1961. He was the second child of Bobby and Janice Leath Sr. He is survived by two children Jonathan Leath Jr. (Bugs) and Sarah Blades (Taterbug), one grandson Ricky Leath, also surviving one brother Bobby Leath Jr. (Debbie), and two sisters Valerie Tull (Brent) and Karen Bloodsworth, several nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
Johnny's passion was camping. He enjoyed the company each trip would bring, the barbequing, and getting to know just about everyone in the campground. He enjoyed the outdoors and being on the water.
He was a devoted son; father, brother, uncle, and friend. He always introduced himself as "Mama's baby boy". He loved his family and we could always count on him being to every family gathering. Johnny showed such compassion for others, he was always there to lenda helping hand, and loved giving to others. Everyone loved Johnny and he had the love of God in him.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Hinman Funeral Home, 11673 Somerset Ave., Princess Anne, Md. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Pastor Jerry Hughes will officiate. Interment will follow in the St. Peter's United Methodist ChurchCemetery in Oriole, Md.
