Deal Island-Jonathan Howard Horseman of Deal Island passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 1, 2012 at John Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland surrounded by his loving family. Jonathan, also referred to affectionately as "Jonny" was born on May 2oth., 1978 in Crisfield, Maryland.
Jonathan was a gifted musician and was a recording engineer and producer. His studio was his pride and joy. He was also an avid cat lover and rescued and cared for every kitten that made their appearance at his door. He was a graduate of Parkside High School in Salisbury, Maryland and the University of Phoenix with a degree in It/Networking Computer Technology.
He is survived by his parents, Irvin and Barbara Horseman of Baltimore, Maryland ., David and Edna Hollister of Salsibury, Md. and his brothers, Michael Horseman of Salisbury, Jeremy Horseman of Lyme CT., Benjamin Horseman of Catonsville, MD., David Hollister, Jr of Barbers Point Coast Guard Station.HI. and sisters, Ann Burke of Pearland TX and Courtney Hollister of Charlotte, NC; his grandparents, Albert and Nancy Brown of Deal Island, MD. His aunts and uncles include. Alice and Robert Wheatley of Delmar, Md, Don and Linda Willey of Fruitland, Md., David and Linda Horseman of Chance, Md. Pamela and Sergio Ramos of Chance, Md., Cindy and Jerry Downes of Salisbury, Md., Laurie Fisher of Eden, Md., Angela Brown of Westover, Md., George and Barbara Hollister of Bolton Landing, NY., John Johnson of Adirondack, NY., and Christine Johnson of Saugerties, NY. Great uncles and aunts include Margaret Bozman of Fruitland, Md., and Lionel and Victoria Brown of Fairfield, CA., Nephews include Caleb and Leah Horseman of Parsonsburg, MD., and Emma, Klara, Anna, and Jack Burke of Pearland., Jonathan is also survived by many cousins, friends, and special friend, Kimberly Okerblom of Fruitland, Md.
Jonathan's service of Christian Burial will be held at St. Johns United Methodist Church in Deal Island, Md. on Thursday, October 4th at 11:30 AM. A Graveside service will immediately follow and be conducted at St. Pauls United Methodist Cemetery in Wenona, Md. . Rev. Lloyd Foard and David Webster will officiate.
