John Duke Donald Sandusky, 82, Died August 3, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD. Born June 5, 1932 in New York, he was the son of the late John Sandusky and Marjorie Gill Sandusky. John worked as a Bank Executive for City Bank. He was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Westover, the Knights of Columbus and the Lakewood New Jersey Elk. He was a Veteran of the U. S Army serving in the Korean War.
He is survived by five children, John Sandusky of Stoney Point NY, Jeannie Couch of Eureka CA, Maryanne Castro of Garwood, NJ, Joe Sandusky of Laurel DE, and Dennis Sandusky of Highpoint, NC. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Danielle, Eric, Clint, Terrance, Willie, Kimberly, Ashley, Joe, Matt, Colleen Lyndsey, and Michael along with several Great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death besides his parents was a brother Robert Sandusky.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM in St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, in Westover, MD. A visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM with Prayers at 7:00 in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne. Interment will follow the service in the Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne. Father William Porter will officiate.
