John E. Raymond Jr., 78, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014, . Born in Princess Anne, MD. July 5, 1936, to the late John E. Raymond , Sr. and Alma Jean Lee Raymond. He married the former Virginia F. Long on April 23, 1953. John was a U. S. Army Veteran and worked at WBOC television Station in Salisbury, MD, as a Technical Engineer from 1959 till 2003.
He is survived by his wife Virginia, his four children, Brenda (Michael) Ventura, Lisa (Andrew) Laymon, Joan (Donald) Gilboy and Jocelyn (Jeff) Disharoon. He also leaves five grandchildren, Michael Ventura, Corin (Ernest) Spencer, Cory Ventura, April Baker and Lauralee Vigeant, two brothers Terry (Janice) Raymond and Ralph (Sherrie) Raymond.
A funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 15th, 2014 at 11:00 am. in the Hinman funeral Home in Princess Anne, MD. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in the Zion cemetery in Eden, MD. Rev. Gordon Mills will Officiate.
