Mr. John Edwards Parks, 70, died June 9, 2015 at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. John was a waterman, a member of the Waterman's Association, a United States Army Veteran, and a member of the McDonalds coffee club.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Ellen Lee Brittingham Parks, His children Kimberly Thomas (Curt) of Parksley, Sheila Elliott of Fairmount, Jonnie Ann Wink (Jamie) of Princess Anne, and Faith Ann Parks of Fairmount, grandchildren Elizabeth Ann Parks and several grand and great-grandchildren, brothers Mitchell Parks of Hebron, Kenny and Dewey Parks, Jr., both of Fairmount, and Danny Parks of Princess Anne.
Preceding him in death along with his parents were his son Johnny Parks, Jr and his brother Phill Parks.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday June 14, 2015 at 2:00 Pm. at the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, Md. Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Prior to the Service. Interment will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery, in Fairmount.
