Kingston—John Walter Lucas, Jr. 74, of Kingston near Westover, died Monday March 21st. at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born August 15, 1937, he was the son of the late John and Mary R. Lucas. John worked in Pest Control in Baltimore and Later opened Joanie's Country Kitchen, in Kingston with his wife Joan . He was a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed Westerns and was an avid Hunter and Fisherman.
John is survived by three children, Deborah Lynn Cosden and husband John, of Baltimore, John Walter Lucas III and wife Elizabeth of Kingston, and William Jeffery Lucas and wife Sandy of PA. Two Grandchildren , Amanda and Jeffery, one brother and three sisters. A late Granddaughter was Brandy Jean Lucas.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 25th. at 3:00 PM. in the Hinman Funeral Home, in Princess Anne, Md. where friends may call from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. The Rev. Eddie Daniels will officiate. Cremation will follow the service.
