Princess Anne - Jerry Bruce Reynolds, Sr., 74 of Princess Anne, MD passed away peacefully on July 3, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Crisfield, MD on September 12, 1947 he was the son to the late Elois Virginia Blades Reynolds and Robert Ray Reynolds.
Jerry graduated in 1966 from Washington High School and had a passion for playing basketball. He was a member of O.T. Beauchamp Post # 94, and a Life Member of the Princess Anne Volunteer Fire Department. He served for 7 years in the National Guard with the 1229th TC Light/Medium Truck Unit where he was an M-16 Rifle Expert. He was very proud to be a veteran of the National Guard. Jerry worked very hard all his life as a Welder and Bush Hogger. He can be remembered by seeing his 856 Farmall Tractor with his American Flag flying high. He was very proud to fly his flags. Jerry was a true outdoorsman and loved watching birds. He was often caught singing to the hummingbirds. His favorite saying during his last weeks of life was "Don't worry, Be Happy".
He is survived by his companion, Debbie Lawrence of Princess Anne; two daughters, Lyndi Rosetta and her husband Mike of Princess Anne and Heather Carroll of Laurel; one son, Jerry Reynolds, Jr. of East New Market; three grandchildren, Nicholas Rosetta, Jace Carroll, and Jaxon Rosetta; one sister Jetta Reynolds and one brother Richard "Dickie" Reynolds; one nephew Douglas Reynolds; three nieces; Jackie DeMoss, Jill Ross, and Jayna Jackson; and several cousins.
The family would truly like to thank Coastal Hospice for all of their help during this difficult time. They would also like to thank three very special care givers, Darla Holland, Dorien Croswell and Tammy Thomas for all of their love and care with Jerry in the last month. We are forever grateful to them.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 12:00 pm at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne. Friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm and on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pastor Ernie Evans will officiate. Interment will be held in the Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne.
