Jeffery Robert Fitchett, 55, of Deal Island, MD formerly of Pennesville, NJ went to be with the Lord April 30, 2016. Jeffery, aka "Jethro" was preceded by his parents Carol L. Fitchett (Foulke) and Albert J. Fitchett. Jeffery was a 1978 graduate of Pennsville Memorial High School. He worked at his father's business Al's Electrical Contracting, on a tug boat through the Great Lakes, Gulf Oil Refinery, Philadelphia, PA, and Cat-Tech Hydro Blasting, Gibbstown, NJ. He returned to the family business The Scroll Shop, Inc., until it closed. He then worked for Stones's Electric of Princess Anne, Md. and Holy Smokes/Island Concessions LLC of Chincoteague. Jeffery loved to cook, radio controlled planes, fishing, boating and living on the water in NJ, his fathers home in Dames Quarter, MD and his home in Chance, MD.
He is survived by his brother, Dr. Michael A. Fitchett (Jacquie) of Nottingham, PA, his sisters Melissa J. Fitchett and Alana A. Fitchett, Step mother Jilda D. Fitchett of Pennsville, NJ, nieces and nephews Dr. Jenna J. Fitchett Ennis (Charlie) of Oxford, PA, Timothy M. Fitchett (Dr. Heather Mikes Fitchett) of Portland, OR, Lucas Fitchett of Nottingham, PA, Samantha A Fernandez of Telluride, CO. Kylie N. Fitchett of Pennsville, NJ and a great nephew Samuel Ennis.
Those wishing to celebrate Jeffery's life can call Friday, May 13, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM at the Ashcraft Funeral Home, Pennsville, NJ.
