Jean Katherine Johnson, 89, died Wed. December 7th, at Manokin Manor Nursing Home in Princess Anne. Born Sept. 7, 1922, she was the daughter of the Late
William and Daisy Krick.
Jean was the receptionist, for Dr. Everett Sutter in Dames Quarter, for more than 40 years. She was a member of St. Peters United Methodist Church in Oriole and a member of the Ladies V.F.W. Auxilary.
She is survived by three children, Jeanie Thomas of Princess Anne, Ann Hornsby and her husband Luther, of Princess Anne, and Bobby Hall and his special friend Lea Meredith, of Salisbury. She also had one grandchild, Gregg Thomas and his wife Julie, of Princess Anne.
Preceding her in death were, her first Husband, Robert Hall, her second Husband, Nils Johnson, and a very special friend and companion Charles Lankford,. A late Son-In law was Jesse "Wicky" Thomas.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10th. at 1:00 PM. , in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. William Kniceley and Rev. Sally Stewart will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the St. Peters United Methodist Cemetery in Oriole.
