James Lee Somers, Jr., 65, of Parsonsburg, passed away on June 6, 2016 at Atlantic General Hospital in berlin. Born in Crisfield on September 24, 1950, he was the son of James L. and Frances Shores Somers. James was a member of the Delmar VFW, Sharptown American Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles, APA American Pool Players Association. and a US Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife Cynthia Somers of Parsonsburg, two children Leeann Evans and her husband Brian of Parsonsburg, James Somers III and Crystal Bozman of Salisbury. Grandchildren, Mikayla Somers, Madilynn Somers, Zoey Evans Katherina Somers, Jessika Evans, Masen Evans and Christopher Somers. Also surviving Special niece Philicia Northam, great nieces and nephews, Ashley Northam, Shelby Northam, Rachael Northam, and Colby Northam, two brither-inlaws , Phil and John Renshaw along with many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday June 26th, 2016, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the Delmar VFW at 200 W. State Street, Delmar , MD. 21875. The family request that casual attire be worn.
