Parsonsburg - James Thomas Pusey, 78, of Parsonsburg, MD passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at his home. Born on July 3, 1946 in Salisbury, MD, he was the son of the late Daniel H. Sr and Ola Muriel (Willing) Pusey, and son-in-law of the late Clifford T. and Beverly A. (Parsons) Carter. In addition to his parents and in-laws, he was preceded in death by brother Daniel H. Pusey, Jr, sister Patricia A.  (Pusey) Peterman, brother-in-law Wallace H. Peterman, Sr, and nephew Wallace H. Peterman, Jr.

He is survived by his wife Diane Kay Carter, son Daniel Clifford Pusey, and sister J. Paulette (Pusey) Smith, sister-in-law Kathleen W. Pusey, sisters-in-law Lynn C. Ransley and Susan C. Duffield and families, and special niece Lori P. Lamden and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Powellville United Methodist Church, 35606 Mount Hermon Rd, Pittsville, MD 21850, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
