Obituary

James Lee Henderson, Jr., 55, of Princess Anne, died on April 2, 2014. Born in Crisfield on June 20, 1958, he was the son of James Lee Henderson Sr and Connie Owens Henderson of Princess Anne. Jimmy was currently working as an electrician for AET Electric of Parsonsburg. Jimmy had served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a retired Captain for the Maryland Division of Corrections. Jimmy was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church in Princess Anne, a member of Manokin Lodge #106 AF & AM in Princess Anne, a member of American Legion Post 94 of Princess Anne, a former member of Princess Anne Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Manokin Gun Club. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a daughter Elliott Earhart and her husband John of Westover, Grandchildren Payden, Jase, Landon, and Kailyn Earhart. Also surviving are his sister Cheryl Simpson and her husband David Simpson Jr. of Salisbury, his brother Mike Henderson and his wife Brenda of Westover, nieces Kristin Pepper, Erica and Kaylin Henderson and a Special Friend, Phyllis Elliott.
Preceding him in death were a nephew Andrew Michael Henderson and his niece, Hope Michelle Henderson
A funeral service will be held on Sunday April 6,2014 at 2:00 PM in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne. Friends may call Saturday Evening at the Funeral Home from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Interment will follow the service in the Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne. Rev. Mark Thomas will officiate.
