Parsonsburg – Jack Lee Seaton, "Mr. Jack" passed away peacefully in his home on February 14, 2025. He was born on September 29, 1929 in West Virginia to the late Florance and Archie Seaton.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lenny, Donald, Gale, Bobby, and Jerry as well as his beloved wife, Gladys.

Jack was a self-employed carpenter for many years, and a school bus driver (Bus # 4). He was a long-time member of the Powellville Ruritan since March 1, 1966 and Parsonsburg Ruritan, he served as President, Secretary, and Director. He enjoyed many hobbies with his wife Gladys such as woodworking, painting, taking pictures with his many cameras, gardening and an advanced (self-taught) computer user.

Jack is survived by a brother, Ralph (Speedy) Seaton (Bonnie), granddaughter Michelle Hadder and her husband Jerry, who compassionately took care of him for many years, children John, Cindy (Bruce), 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

His family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Jean Adams for her kindness and support and care shown to Jack. Also, to his sister-in-law, Bonnie Seaton for her unconditional love and care for him.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 24, 2025 at the Powellville Cemetery on Mt. Hermon Rd. Pastor Paul Sherwood will officiate.

Special thanks to the wonderful hospice and palliative care. Pall bearers will be Aaron, Wayne, and Allen Seaton, Jerry Hadder, Billy Bradford, and Jeff Taylor.
