Irving Lee passed away October 5,2015 at the age of 90, after a short illness. He was born in 1925 in Port Jefferson, Long Island, New York to Holmes S. Lee and Ida Mott Lee.
Mr. Lee was a Staff Sargent during WW II and served under General George Patton in the European Theater. He received three Presidential Citations and the Liberty Medal from France.
He was a member of Port Jefferson Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years, where he served as Chief and also as Fire Commissioner. He was the owner and operator of the Princess Anne Camp Ground and Swim Club for 40 years.
He leaves behind his wife of 69 years Laura M. Lee, One daughter, Donna Pinchak ( G. Robert) of Princess Anne, two grandchildren, Michelle P. Wainwright ( Ron) of Salisbury, and Robert M. Pinchak, Sr. (Lisa) of Westover. He also leaves seven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service is planned for October 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM. in the Beechwood Cemetery, in Princess Anne, Md.
