Irvin Ray Ford, 80 of here died Jan. 12, 2022 at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury. Born In Salisbury on June 6, 1941 he was a son of the late Oscar John Ford and Mildred McDaniel Ford. Ray was a 34 year employee of the former Dresser Industries in Salisbury and had been employed in the Maintenance Department of Somerset County. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was Commander of O.T. Beauchamp Post 94, American Legion in Princess Anne. Ray loved to garden and listen to Blue Grass music. He was Known for his infectious smile.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Erica R. Ford, two children, Ray M. Ford of Dames Quarter and Judy Robinson and her husband, Steve of Pittsville, four grandchildren, Dustin McPhail and her husband Mike, Paige Coulbourne and her husband, Randy, Kate Robinson and MiKayla Wallace, two great-grandchildren, Gage and Reed McPhail and his brother, William Ford of Salisbury. Late brothers were Jack and Milbert Ford
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne where friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Interment will be in Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne. Bonnie Stone will officiate.
