Hilda D. Jones, 79 of here died Thursday, Oct. 27th at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.
Born on August 3, 1932 she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret Dreyer of Mt. Vernon.
Mrs. Jones was a housewife and a devoted wife , Mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, sister and friend. Hilda loved Bingo and was a member of the Westover Moose. Her late husband was John Harold Jones, Jr.
Mrs. Jones is survived by three children, John Jones of Pocomoke, Bruce Jones of Cincinnati and Lois Rentschler of Mt. Vernon, 9 Grandchildren, 13 Greatgrandchildren, a sister, Kay Watson of Mt. Vernon and a brother George "Butch" Dreyer of Marion.
A late daughter was Margaret Jones Gatton and a late sister was Wilma Taylor.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5th at 2:00 PM at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne.
The Rev. William Kniceley will Officiate.
