Eden – Herbert "Buddy" Franklin Timmons, 76, of Eden passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at his home with his family.

Born in Salisbury, MD, he was the son of the late Leyman E. and Dora (Ledford) Timmons. Buddy was a truck driver and small business owner amongst many other trades. He was a member of the Redmen's  Tony Tank Tribe 149,  having served as past president and director. Buddy loved his family more than anything. He loved teaching his sons and grandson how to shoot pool.  His favorite past time was being in his garage  listening to music and watching Western shows. But most of all he loved cutting the grass.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia Pearson Timmons of Eden, MD, children Conway Ernest Timmons of Rainesville, AL, Eric Dwayne Timmons of Eden, MD, and Theresa Lynn Perdue also of Eden, MD, grandchildren Conway Ernest Timmons Jr, Shyla Emily Timmons, Haley Nicole Timmons,  Laura Elizabeth Perdue, Julie Ann Perdue, and Sophie Brooke Perdue.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Patty Bloodsworth, Judy Bull, and Marilee Larney.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, MD where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pastor Jamie Devaughn will officiate. Interment will be private on the family farm.
