Helen Stacy Jones, 90, of Fruitland Md, and Lakeland, FL , departed this life on November 15, 2016. She was currently a resident of Aurora Assisted Living of Manokin.
Helen was born June, 29, 1926 in Princess Anne, Md. She was the daughter of the late Mary Helen Solum Stacy and Ernest J. Stacy. A war-time bride, Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Rossie K. (Pete) Jones.
Helen was an office manager and hearing health care provider for Beltone Hearing Aid Center in Salisbury, Md. for 20 years. She loved attending her church, Family Worship Center in Lakeland, Florida and was a proud member of her Red Hat Club known as "Peaches' Scarlet Ladies of Delmarva".
She is survived by a daughter, Sharon L. Phillips and her husband Wayne of Parsonsburg, Md., a son, Kirk S. Jones of Eden, Md., a granddaughter, Dara L. Phillips of Lakeland, FL., a brother, Elwood J. Stacy of Salisbury, Md., a special cousin Barbara Lowe and her husband Jack of Salisbury, Md. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, Md. where friends may call 1 hour prior to the service. Pastor Ron Fullerton will officiate. Interment will be in Beechwood Cemetery.
