Helen E. Barnard, 74 of here died on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 at home. Born on Nov. 7, 1937 in Richmond, Virginia she was a homemaker who was very involved in collecting money for many different charities.
She is survived by her Husband Stephen C. Barnard, Six children, Mary Beauchamp and her husband Wane , Karen Hardy, Ray Meeks, Charles D. Barnard and his wife Sharon, Ernest Chandler and his wife Shelly, all of Princess Anne and Helen L. Major of North Carolina as well as three stepchildren, Carolyn Payne and her husband Dave, Sandra Hall and her husband Rick and Stephen B. Barnard and his wife Aimee all of Richmond, Virginia. Also survived by 2 brothers and 6 sisters, 14 Grandchildren, 15 Greatgrandchildren and Several nieces and nephews.
A late son was Robert Meeks and a late daughter was Patricia Chapman as well as two late brothers and a late sister.
A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 6th at 2:00 PM in Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne. Officiating will be the Rev. Howard Travers. Friends may call from 12:30 to 1:30 PM on Tuesday at the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne.
