Obituary

H. Everett Noble, Jr., 84, of Princess Anne, died Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at his home.

Born on August 18, 1925 in Oriole, Md., he was a son of the late Harry E. Noble, Sr. and Georgia Smith Noble. His wife, Barbara L. Noble, died October 18, 2000.

Mr. Noble was a building contractor, owning and operating H.E. Noble Construction. He had a hand in the restoration of several historic buildings in Somerset County including the Teackle Mansion, Beckford, and Almodington. His memberships include Antioch United Methodist Church in Princess Anne , Manokin Lodge # 106 AF & AM, 32nd degree of the Scottish Rite, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Eastern Shore Shrine Club of Boumi Temple, Boumi Temple, life endowment of National Rifle Association, VFW and O. T. Beauchamp Post #94 of the American Legion. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in Germany and Czechoslovakia during which he received the Bronze Star.

He is survived by two children, Cynthia H. Noble and Everett R. Noble and his wife, Becky, all of Princess Anne; two grandchildren, Kari L. Brittingham and her husband, Michael of Marion and Brad E. Noble of Princess Anne; a sister, Betty Lou Bloodsworth and husband, Dennie of Salisbury; a niece and a nephew.

A funeral service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m.at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev. Bill Sterling will officiate. A Masonic service will be held at 3 p.m.. Interment will be held St. Peters United Methodist Cemetery in Oriole at a later date.
