Salisbury - Gorman Lee Bozman, 85, passed away on Saturday, August 11, at Genesis Healthcare inSalisbury. Gorman was born on February 8, 1933, in Champ, Maryland, to George Samuel an d:Edna Harris Bozman. Gorman's formative years were spent working with his father on the water and at Albert Dashiell's store on St. Peter's Creek in Champ. Upon graduation from Washington High School, Gorman proudly served his country in the United States Navy, aboard the destroyer "Myles C. Fox". Most of Gorman's career was spent working in the field of Agriculture, at Southern States and as Manager at Somerset Farmer's Service and Shore Fertilizer. His favorite pastime was fishing, where he spent many happy hours on his beloved Manokin River. Gorman loved his family and would help anyone in need.
Gorman was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Murrell Bozman and Floyd Bozman, Sr., and sisters Dorothy Hopkins (Wesley), Violet Johnson (Bob), and Deanna Young (Tommy), step daughter Cindy Callahan, and his first wife Carolyn.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, daughters Tammy Bozman and Kim Barnes, son in law Paul Barnes, grandsons, Phillip Barnes (Alisha) and
Nicholas, son in law Chris Callahan, granddaughter Carly Callahan, brother Benny Bozman( Beatrice), sister in law Clara Mae Brittingham, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at St. Peter's United Methodist Church Cemetery in Oriole. Reverend Sammy Bozman will officiate. Contributions can be made to St. Peter's U.M. Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Vicky Laird, 28179 Venton Rd. Princess Anne, Md. 21853
