Salisbury- George Arthur Hall, Sr. 84, of here sailed to Heaven on Thursday, August 4, 2022.
Born in Baltimore , MD on November 13, 1937, he was the son of the late Benjamin Hall, Sr. and Genevieve Hall. He was also preceded in death by his twin brother Benjamin Hall III.
George graduated from, Glen Burnie High School & University of Maryland. He was an avid photographer and from childhood all through his adult life loved all aspects of life on the water but his greatest love was sailing. He was a member of the Fruitland Lions Club and a member of the Mt. Vernon Community in Princess Anne. George was a realtor for Century 21 and for 20 years was a management trainer and Cub Scout Leader. He worked for Job Corp in training young people. He was a tax preparer for many years and went to senior folks home to do their taxes.
He was a people person, very generous and kind.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen Santiago Hall, three children, Leslie, George, and Barry, his former spouse and mother of his children, Nancy Hall, and stepsons Frank and Manny, eight grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren as well as close cousin Michelle Arostegui Novak.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Mt. Vernon with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Father Chris LaBarge will officiate.
