Gail departed this life on April 15, 2016 while at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born in Salisbury, Maryland she was the younger daughter of the late Milburn John and Myrtle Marshall Brewington. She was a 1962 graduate of Wicomico High School and attended the University of Maryland as a certified lay speaker, she coordinated services at The Village at Harbour Pointe and other local churches. She was a member of Washington United Methodist Church where she was serving as Administrative Board Chair. As a former Miss Fruitland, she became Miss Delmarva XV. She was a past president of the Somerset County Business & Professional Women's Club of Princess Anne, former 4-H member and leader receiving the All Star Award, and former member of the Somerset County Garden Club. Gail has worked in the legal field as legal assistant-secretary for the past 25 years. She particularly cherished her association and friendship with Nancy Chernoff and the late Henry Vineyard, both of whom she respected greatly.
Surviving is a sister Janet Dise, a niece Crystal Bromley(Tom) and their children Matthew and Leighton, cousins Irvin Brewington and Phyllis Cooper all of Salisbury. A nephew
Elwood Dise III of Summerville, S.C., a son Phillip C. McMichael Jr. (Stacey), a daughter Michelle Rorison twin to Marcelle Wood who passed in 1999 and 5 grandchildren. She also leaves her beloved cat, Raggedy Anne.
A Service will be conducted at Washington United Methodist Church; Riverside Drive Ext'd by Pastor Bill Littleton on Wednesday April 20, 2016 at 11am with visitation 1 hr. prior to
the service. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
