Florence A. Jones, 82 of here, formerly of Deal Island died on Saturday, June 2nd at home surrounded by her loved ones. Born on Deal Island on Nov. 20, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Calton Harrison and Trussell Webster Harrison. Her late Husband was Sanford Jones. Mrs. Jones was a Homemaker and a lifelong member of St. Johns United Methodist Church on Deal Island.
She is survived by three children, Marion Webster and his wife Kathy of Deal Island, Tammy Webster and her longtime companion, Danny Adams of Princess Anne and Kevin Jones and his wife, Helen of Deal Island, 9 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren and her special friend who was like a daughter to her, Debbie Benton as well as several nieces and nephews. A late brother was Tommy Harrison.
A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 5th at 2:00 PM at St. Johns United Methodist Church on Deal Island where frienda may call from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. The Rev. David Webster will officiate.
