Obituary

Princess Anne – Edwin Benjamin "Benny" Williams, 80, of here passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
Born in Crisfield, Md. on December 2, 1938, he was the son of the late Emmett and Emily (Maddox) Williams. Benny served in the U.S. Army National Guard. He worked in the poultry industry as a service man. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Princess Anne. Mr. Benny guided many young boys in his early years as a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Thelma Williams, his 3 children, Mark E. Williams and his wife Amy of Snow Hill, Md., Susan Williams Davis and her husband Thomas of Salisbury, Md. and William Benjamin Williams and his wife Gina of Elkridge, Md., six grandchildren, Bethany Denton (Collin), Emily Davis, Gabe Williams, Samantha Williams, Ryan Williams and Alexa Williams, and sister Terri Hinman of Crisfield, Md.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lawson Williams.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 11793 Crisfield Lane in Princess Anne, Md. with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Jamie Devaughn will officiate and interment will follow in Allen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to 1st. Baptist Church at the address listed above.
