Edna A. Bozman Guarino
PRINCESS ANNE—Edna A. Bozman Guarino, 87, of Princess Anne died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at
Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
Born in Salisbury on Aug. 19, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Alfred Bozman and Lida
McDorman Bozman.
Edna had formerly worked as a poultry grower raising laying hens on Stewart Neck Road in
Princess Anne.
She attended St. Frances De Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury.
She is survived by two daughters, Vivian Chisholm (Joe) of Pocomoke City and Virginia Tyler of
Vienna; four grandchildren, Sherri Bridge (Larry), John Tyler (Liz), Kim Thomas (Ricky) and Vicky
Tyler; seven great-grandchildren, Savannah, Dakota and Peyton Chisholm, Mason and Payton
Bridge, Thomas and Phillip Tyler; a great-great-grandchild, Carlie Bridge and several nieces and
nephews.
Besides her husband of 63 years, John Guarino, who died Feb. 13, 2005, she was preceded in
death by a son-in-law, Thomas Tyler; granddaughter, Cynthia Tyler and two sisters, Hilda Kaufman
and Pearl Powell.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 1p.m. at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, where
friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev. William Kniceley will be officiating. Interment
will be held in St. Andrews Episcopal Cemetery located behind Manokin Presbyterian Church in
Princess Anne.
