Dorothy E. Catlin, 87 of here died on Friday, Dec. 5, 2014 at her residence. Born in Upper Fairmount she was a Daughter of the late Otto E. Ford and Elsie Walston Ford. Mrs. Catlin was a homemaker and a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Upper Fairmount. Her late husband was Willard H. Catlin, Sr.
She is survived by three children, Willard Hope "Buster" Catlin and his wife Bonnie of Upper Fairmount, Larry Dale Catlin of Upper Fairmount and Lisa Elizabeth Lyons and her husband Patrick of Hurlock. Four grandchildren, Hope Lynn Catlin, Willard H. Catlin III and his wife Melanie, Sierra Elizabeth Lyons and Kyle Michael Lyons, two great-grandchildren, Conner Morgan Catlin and Liam Catlin. also survived by a brother, Ed Ford of Florida, three sisters, Mildred Barry and Irene Holland both of Princess Anne and Joyce Helms of Florida and several nieces and nephews and her granddog, Woo. A late son was, Ricky Catlin and a late brother was Emory Otto Ford.
A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 9th at 12:00 PM in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne. The Rev. Nolan Ford will officiate. Friends may call from 11:30 to 12:00 PM. Interment will be held in Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne.
