Princess Anne- Doris Mae Pusey Taylor, 103, of Princess Anne, passed away Monday, February 27, 2017, at Coastal Hospice by the Lake.
Born June 13, 1913 in Somerset County, she was the daughter of the late Horace E. and Henrietta Wright Pusey. She was a retired cafeteria worker.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Powell of Princess Anne, Md. and a son, Robert Taylor of Mt. Vernon, Md., 4 grandchildren, Teresa West, Wendy Powell, Erin Crockett, and Mark Walters, great grandchildren, Taylor and Dillon West, Justin and Alexis Green, and Bobby Taylor, and a sister, Margaret Shockley of Salisbury.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney L. Taylor (1972), Brothers Willard, Edward, Herbert, and Clyde Pusey, Sisters Mildred Beauchamp, Evelyn Smith, and Winnie Young as well as a grandson, Robert Lee Taylor.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Manokin Presbyterian Cemetery. Reverend David Parke will officiate.
