Doris Ann Megee, 82, of Princess Anne, passed away Friday, June 19, 2026 at Manokin Manor.

Born in Baltimore City on May 7, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Richard Henry McGeeney and Marie Catherine Starr McGeeney. Her husband, James Gibbons Megee, Sr., preceded her in death on May 8, 2007.

After retiring from Shore Transit as Assistant Operations Director, Doris worked for the City of Salisbury as a Parking Garage Attendant. Doris loved playing BINGO and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by children, Patricia Weir (Mark), Michael Megee (Stacey), James Megee, Jr. (Rhoda), and George Megee (Nancy); Her first great-granddaughter Jayden Gibson; 10 grandchildren; 18 more great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Butch Lehman, Sr.; Doris was the last surviving of her brothers and sisters.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
