Doris Jean Collins, 68, of Mt. Vernon, died Monday June 10, 2013 at her home in Mt. Vernon. Born November 6, 1944, in Salisbury Maryland to the late Ralph and Sarah Alice Harbaugh Kraft. Doris worked for 31 years in Food Service and Health Care making many Friends along the way.
She is survived by a son Charles Collins (Vicky) of Princess Anne, a brother Ralph Kraft, Jr. (Mary Esther) of Princess Anne, a Special Niece Barbara Parkinson ( Ronnie) of Mount Vernon, a niece Traci Switt ( Greg) of Cape Charles, Va., and a nephew Ricky Kraft of Salisbury.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Carl E. Collins, her second husband, James Paul Shupe, and her brother Bob Kraft.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 15th at the Asbury United Methodist Church Hall, in Mount Vernon, at 11:00 AM. Friends may call between 10:30 and 11:00 at the Church Hall. The Rev. Olivia Costango will officiate.
