Princess Anne - Donna L. Purcell, 73, of Princess Anne, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025 at her home, surrounded by those she loved.

Born in Baltimore on April 11, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Millie Walters.  She was a graduate of Kenwood High School.

She had a long career in clerical and administrative work, marked by dual retirements from C&P Telephone Co. in Baltimore, and later Delmarva Oil in Salisbury.  She also spent much of her time helping her husband with his farming business.

She had many hobbies including arts and crafts such as woodworking, stained glass, sewing, and painting. She enjoyed traveling and camping as well as being outdoors – fishing, boating, gardening and taking care of her yard.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and especially adored her granddaughters.

She is survived by her husband, Rantz Purcell of Princess Anne; her daughter, Kerri Huber (Ryan) of Baltimore; granddaughters, Isabelle "Izzy" Huber of Baltimore and Evelyn Adams of Ridgely; daughter-in-law, Nichole Phillips of Ridgely; her sister, Sharon Wolfe (Glen) of Cambridge; close family friend, Jamie Dennis of Tyaskin; and her former husband and father of her children, Robert "Rick" Adams (TC) of Perryhawkin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert "Ricky" Adams in 2017.

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 28, 2025, at 1 PM at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne where a visitation will be from 11AM – 1PM.  Pastor Jamie DeVaughn will officiate. A private burial for the immediate family will follow.
