Donald A. Cornforth passed away March 12, 2013. Born on May 30, 1929, he was raised in Philadelphia and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1950. He was a mechanical engineer, a recreational pilot and a proud member of the AOPA and the Philadelphia Aviation Country Club. An avid bicyclist and waterfowl watcher, he had resided on Maryland's Eastern Shore for the last seven years. He was cared for by loving family and friends in Chance and on Deal Island. He and his late wife Nancy were active in the Episcopal Churches in Philadelphia and North Wildwood. After her passing, he continued his close association with churches in Fairfield, Connecticut and late in Princess Anne, Maryland. He is survived by his daughters Donna C. Robinson, Jill Cornforth Lemon, Elise C. Gaskill, their spouses, eight wonderful grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service and Internment is Saturday, April 13th, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 30513 Washington St. Princess Anne, Md. 21853. The Rev. David Michaud will officiate
