Westover – Donald Lee Ballard, 67, of here passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Genesis Nursing & Rehabilitation in Salisbury, MD.
Born in Salisbury, MD on August 27, 1954, he was the son of the late "Tac" and Ardella Ballard. Donald was a graduate of Washington High School. He worked as a General Contractor in Land Development.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin Sister, Donna Ballard, Brother James Ballard and Sister, Henrietta Hull.
Donald is survived by his wife of 43 years, Diane Butler Ballard, children Joshua Ballard (Whitney), and Rachel Ballard, all of Salisbury, MD, grandchildren Cameron Ballard, Zahiya Baker, Lennon Ballard and Harbor Ballard, Brothers Ken Ballard and Tinker Ballard of Princess Anne, MD and Sisters Martha Blake and Lucille Ballard of Baltimore, MD.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Hinman Funeral Home, P.A. of Princess Anne, MD where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Jesse Ballard will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local Volunteer Fire Dept or take a kid fishing.
