Dolores Elizabeth Hoffman, 87, formerly of Wenona, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Bayview Johns Hopkins in Baltimore.
She was born in Annapolis, Md. on November 30, 1929 to the late Everett and Sadie Hardesty Tucker. She was married to the late Ernest Hoffman who passed away October 16, 1985. She was a homemaker, had worked at Bountiful Farms Nursery, played the piano in church, and was a member of Walker Memorial-Church of God in Princess Anne, Md.
Prior to her illness, she had made her home in Baltimore with her son, Garland Hoffman. She is also survived by her sister, Carol Jean Wisnum of Pocomoke, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Hoffman, and late brothers, Willis and Wayne Tucker.
A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, April 7, 2017 at 2:00 P.M at Hinman Funeral Home, 11673 Somerset Ave., Princess Anne, Md. where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pastor Sonny Benton will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul's U.M.C. Cemetery.
