David E. Abbey
PRINCESS ANNE—David E. Abbey, 78, of Princess Anne died Monday, April 5, 2010, at Coastal
Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.
Born in Baltimore on June 20, 1931, he was a son of the late David Vincent Abbey and Violet
Florence Marshall Abbey.
Mr. Abbey had worked as a carpenter and was a U.S. army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Virginia Abbey of Princess Anne; three sons, David Abbey and
wife, Barbara, Norman Abbey and wife, Chasie and James Abbey and wife, Jennifer; a sister,
Barbara Jacobs; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A brother, Norman Abbey is deceased.
A graveside memorial service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Wicomico Memorial Park in
Salisbury. Rev. William Kniceley will officiate.
