Princess Anne

Darlene P. Black, 81, of Loxahatchee, Florida, formerly of West Post Office near Princess Anne passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, November 13, 2010. Born in Sparrows Point, Md on March 27, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Walter C. Puckett and Bessie Tyler Puckett. Mrs. Black was a homemaker and a member of Friendship United Methodist Church in West Post Office.
Darlene's memory will be cherished by her granddaughters, Tricia (Steve) Bonincontri, with whom she made her home and April Black; Two great grandsons, Brett and Chad Bonincontri; great granddaughter, Miranda McKay and her mother, Melissa McKay, and her sister Leona Whittington. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul E. Black, Sr.; children, Paul E. Black, Jr. and Dee Griffiths; and a grandson, Patrick T. McKay, Jr.
A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, MD. Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. The Rev. Tom Blakelock will officiate. Interment will be in Friendship United Methodist Cemetery in West Post Office.
