Deal Island- Daniel C. Will, Sr., 79, died on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 atCoastal Hospice by the Lake in Salisbury. Born on April 1, 1935, he was the son of the late George C.and Alice McMunn Will. Mr. Will was an 8 yr. Korean War Air Force veteran ( 1952 to 1960). He served in Korea from 1962 to 1953. He was a member of the Llanarch Fire Co. in Llanarch, PA, the Newtown Square Fire Co in Newtown Square, PA, and the Deal Island - Chance Fire Co. in Deal Island, MD. He was active in the Deal Island - Chance Lions Club, and was a member of the VFW. His wife of 55 years, Janice Will died in 2010. Dan and Janice enjoyed their retirement years in Deal Island.
Dan is survived by three sons, Daniel Will, JR. and his wife Shelly of Idaho, Robert Will and his wife Michelle of West Chester, PA and James Will and his wife Christine of Jacksonville, Florida. He is also survived by two brothers, Albert Will and John Will of Springfield, PA, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A late brother was George Will.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 27th, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the Rock Creek United Methodist Church in Chance where friends may call from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. The Rev. David Webster will officiate. Interment will follow on Wednesday, May 28th. at 10:00 AM in Glenwood Memorial Park in Broomall, PA.
